Supporting Caregivers Through The Aging-In-Place Journey
We talk a lot about the importance of supporting seniors. But it is also important to support the people who care for them.
Their dedication forms the core of our aging-in-place community, ensuring seniors find comfort in their homes. These caregivers need support from their community, and aging-in-place organizations - like DSCC and KSC - extend their assistance to encompass the needs of all caregivers, fostering a comprehensive care network.

We love our local and national business partners. Their advocacy and support enable us to help more seniors.
Jiffy Lube Partnership
When customers visit participating Jiffy Lube service centers for vehicle maintenance between October 1-31, they’ll be asked to donate $3 to Meals on Wheels when they check out.
Because we are a Meals On Wheels program in DuPage and Kane County, we receive 100% of the funds raised through this program.
Jiffy Lube also offers our volunteers a 15% service discount at any Jiffy Lube location. This can help out Meals On Wheels volunteers since our volunteers use their personal vehicles to deliver meals to seniors.
myWalgreens Partnership
Through our partnership with Walgreens, DSCC received $121 in donations. myWalgreens reward members could select DSCC as their non-profit of choice to add a donation to their purchase when using the Walgreens App.
Every donation dollar counts and we are thankful to Walgreens for helping us connect with people who are passionate about helping seniors.
GET ACTIVE: Meals On Wheels #SaveLunch Campaign
Inadequate federal funding in Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 could have a devastating impact on Meals on Wheels programs and the seniors we serve.
To make our voices and the voices of our seniors heard, we've joined Meals On Wheels America in their #SaveLunch campaign. We encouraged our volunteers and community members to write a message about the importance of Meals On Wheels on a paper plate. We collected and mailed the plates to our local members of Congress.
For more information on the Meals on Wheels #SaveLunch Campaign, watch the video below. To get active, email us for more information.
