As we celebrate Older Americans Month, we are reminded of the rich tapestry of experiences that shape the lives of senior citizens across our nation. The theme for this year, "Aging Unbound," invites us to break free from stereotypes and embrace the diverse and dynamic roles that older adults play in our communities.
We are proud to align our mission with this empowering campaign, dedicated to helping seniors live independently and with dignity.
As we explore Aging Unbound, we recognize that embracing flexible attitudes towards aging benefits everyone, promoting a society where older adults can live full, independent lives.
Join us as we celebrate the contributions of seniors and create a community that values their presence.

2nd Annual Champions for Charity Golf Classic
Get your friends together. DuPage Senior Citizens Council presents the Second Annual Golf Classic fundraiser on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Cantigny Golf Course.
Whether you are a business in Kane or DuPage County or someone who loves golf and helping others, this is a fun way to get involved in your community.
DSCC is honored to be part of the 2024 CROP Walk on May 5 that raises funds for and awareness of the ever-present food insecurity issues in DuPage County and other U.S. and international areas!
Portions of CROP funds support DSCC and will help us serve seniors facing food insecurity.
When I was a teenager, my grandfather delivered meals on wheels to other senior citizens in his community after retirement. Knowing how rewarding this was for him inspired me to volunteer after my retirement last year.
It is wonderful meeting people from all backgrounds in our community and hearing their stories and how they appreciate the program.
It is those wonderful people in our community who make this experience especially rewarding.
If you're not currently volunteering and inspired by this testimony, let us know and we'll help you get connected.
